Due to large demand this particular crate may take 2-3 weeks before shipping. The majority of our crates are made to order. Please know we are working hard to keep items available.
This original Vietnam War ammunition crate housed 2 cartridges of 105mm shells with a Point Detonating M-557 fuze that was used with the Howitzer Cannon, M2A1, M2A2 & M40. This crate weighed approx. 111 lbs during its service period. The crate has been modified to accommodate six 750ml bottles, each resting on two steel rods. The finish has been hand-rubbed, allowing the natural wood to show through the finished product. The combination of wood and steel modernizes this vintage item. A portion of every purchase is donated to one or more of our chosen non-profit organizations.
We are more than happy to customize most crates for you. We realize that sometimes the stain you want may not be available...no worries we can make one for you, usually with no additional charge. We just need a few extra weeks to customize it for you. The majority of our larger crates are made to order. However, we usually keep a few different variations in stock. If you don't have time to wait a few weeks for a custom crate please pick from our "in stock" items only.
*The doors & lids on most crates can be engraved or a name plate can be added anywhere for a fee.
