This large authentic British WWII 81mm Metal Ammo Box was put in service approx. 1939. This is a genuine military issued crate and most of the original writing is still in tact. The metal crate has been retrofitted to house six bottles of wine. The wine housing unit is made of reclaimed barn wood from the same era and is removable to offer other uses, such as, books, munitions, collectibles and more. The barn wood has not been stain, which allows the beautiful natural colors to show through. This crate is a timeless piece that will last for many years to come. A portion of every purchase is donated to one or more of our chosen non-profit organizations.
*All of our crates can have a name plate added for a small fee (see Custom Name Plates).
