The Wine Rest originates from a Howitzer Crate used in the Vietnam War. The Rest is meant to display 2 bottles of wine/spirits & 2 stemmed glasses. The hand-rubbed finish adds to the weather worn wood.

SPECS: The ammunition crate housed 2 cartridges of 105mm shells with a Point Detonating M-557 fuze that was used with the Howitzer Cannon, M2A1, M2A2 & M40. The crate weighed approx. 111 lbs during its service period.
