These original Vietnam War ammunition crates housed 2 cartridges of 105mm shells. The wood along with the original hasp latch gives this item a modern look to this war worn item. The latch can also be fitted with a lock.
This Howitzer crate can accommodate six 750ml bottles. It is designed to lay on a stable surface with bottles laying flat.
The original hasp and latch has been left on allowing this cabinet to be locked. This design allows for the display aged wines and other spirits in a timeless fashion. Legs can be added to turn this item into a coffee table or end table (see Hairpin Legs and/or 16" Trapezoid Legs on our products page).
